CINTA CANDLE
The Cinta Candle takes you back to the 1930s in Bali, when frangipani flowers blossomed and exhaled their subtle scent in the streets of Balinese villages.
Bali still untouched by tourism, where bare-breasted women dressed in traditional sarong returned from the market with a handmade bamboo basket filled with flowers on their heads. In a ceremony dedicated to the gods, five women take care of each other, adorning themselves with batik sarongs and Cempaka flowers in their hair.
A flowery chord enhanced by ylang-ylang and agar wood.
TOP: Frangipani, Cempaka

BASE: Cambodian Agar wood
We have used the wooden wick for several reasons:
It gives a unique atmosphere:
The wooden wick is whispering so it crackles and leaves a nice "singing" reminiscent of a wood fire.
Practicality:
When you use your candle, the wooden wick will not sag, unlike cotton wicks. Lighting is very easy and it will not give off any odour when you extinguish it.
Cleaner burn:
Wooden wick produces a slightly larger flame than cotton wicks and if trimmed properly are said to create a cleaner burn with less soot residue on the sides of our jar.
Our holistic candle combines the powers of essential oils and the element of wood to promote wellbeing.

We support Balinese farmers by using locally harvested raw materials in our candles, such as coconut wax.
The candle is hand-poured in a glass jar by Anita our artisan based in the South of Bali.
Each scent is inspired by an illustration, its story, and its origins.
